About STIE Gema

STIE GEMA, or Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) Gema Widya Bangsa, is a higher education institution in the field of economics established by the Yayasan Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (YPK) Karya Budi on August 4, 1999, with establishment permit No.134/D/0/99.

The YPK Karya Budi foundation was established in the Articles of Association by Notary Koswara, No. 2, on July 2, 1986. The Articles of Association were amended on September 30 by Notary Tina Melinda Fuady, SH., Sp.I in number 03.

This Articles of Association was approved by the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia under number AHU-AH.01.08-226 on April 3, 2009, and published in the Indonesian State Gazette No. 21 on March 12, 2010.

Mission

1. Menyelenggarakan Dan Mengembangkan Pendidikan dan Pengajaran Yang Berkualitas Dalam Bidang Manajemen Dan Akuntansi Pada Industri Pariwisata Dan Ekonomi Kreatif.
2. Menyelenggarakan Dan Mengembangkan Penelitian yang Berkualitas Dalam Skala Nasional Internasional dalam Bidang Manajemen dan Akuntansi Pada Industri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif
3. Menyelenggarakan Dan Mengembangkan Pengabdian Masyarakat Berbasis Iptek Untuk Memberdayakan Masyarakat dalam Bidang Manajemen dan Akuntansi Pada Industri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif
4. Menyelenggarakan Kerjasama (Networking) dengan Berbagai Institusi Di Dalam Dan Di Luar Negeri dalam Bidang Manajemen dan Akuntansi Pada Indsutri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif

1. Education and Teaching

• Providing Education: STIE Gema is responsible for offering higher education in the field of economics and business with high quality standards and developing curricula that meet the needs of the business world and industry.
• Enhancing the Learning Process: STIE Gema is tasked with improving the learning process to produce competent, competitive, and ethical graduates, as well as providing adequate facilities and support to ensure successful learning.

2. Research and Development

• Conducting Research: Conduct research in economics and business to produce quality scientific work and manage research centers in these fields.
• Research Development: Encourage faculty and students to contribute to research relevant to scientific advancements and community needs. Publish research results in scientific journals and other scholarly forums.

3. Community Service

• Conducting Beneficial Community Service: Organize community service activities, particularly in the fields of economics and business, integrating education, research, and community service.
• Expanding Knowledge Dissemination: Integrate research findings and acquired knowledge into practical solutions for community problems.

These duties and functions are expected to contribute positively to the development and enhancement of the quality of STIE Gema Widya Bangsa in accordance with the principles of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi.
